Ingredients
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 500g David’s Larder pre-marinated beef stir fry (includes capsicum and carrots)*
- 1 brown onion, diced
- 1 bunch broccolini, cut into 4cm lengths
- 1 tbsp water
- 1 tbsp coriander leaves
- 1 red chilli, to taste
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 1 lime, cut into wedges
- steamed white rice or noodles, to serve
Directions
- Heat a large wok over high heat and once warmed up add 1 tbsp of the oil and carefully swirl around to coat the side of the wok. Heat until very hot.
- Once the oil is sizzling, add the pre-marinated beef strips. (Tip – cook the meat in 2 batches to avoid overloading the wok and stewing the meat).
- Once the beef is cooked through, set it aside in a large bowl and cover.
- Wipe the wok with a paper towel and heat the remaining oil. Add the onion and broccolini, frying for 2 minutes. Add a splash of water and cook for 30-60 seconds, allowing the vegetables to steam until tender.
- Toss through half the coriander and chilli (to taste).
- Add the beef and toss until heated through.
- Serve with rice or noodles and sprinkle with sesame seeds, a sprig of fresh coriander and a wedge of lime.
