Serving Size:
4 – 6

Time:
20 minutes

Difficulty:
Easy

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 500g David’s Larder pre-marinated beef stir fry (includes capsicum and carrots)*
  • 1 brown onion, diced
  • 1 bunch broccolini, cut into 4cm lengths
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp coriander leaves
  • 1 red chilli, to taste
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1 lime, cut into wedges
  • steamed white rice or noodles, to serve

Directions

  • Heat a large wok over high heat and once warmed up add 1 tbsp of the oil and carefully swirl around to coat the side of the wok. Heat until very hot.
  • Once the oil is sizzling, add the pre-marinated beef strips. (Tip – cook the meat in 2 batches to avoid overloading the wok and stewing the meat).
  • Once the beef is cooked through, set it aside in a large bowl and cover.
  • Wipe the wok with a paper towel and heat the remaining oil. Add the onion and broccolini, frying for 2 minutes. Add a splash of water and cook for 30-60 seconds, allowing the vegetables to steam until tender.
  • Toss through half the coriander and chilli (to taste).
  • Add the beef and toss until heated through.
  • Serve with rice or noodles and sprinkle with sesame seeds, a sprig of fresh coriander and a wedge of lime.
